In today's sermon we look at the drive behind the spread of the gospel. In the beginning of the church it spread like wild fire. This came by God's blessings and men's drive to spread the truth of the gospel. The heart behind it is shared here by Paul. This drive and heart must be behind our efforts today as well. God bless you all in your studies.
In today's sermon we look at the opening chapter of 1 Thessalonnians. Paul is opening this epistle with glowing thankfulness of a church that heard and acted upon the sound of the gospel. Seeing this response he is thankful to know the election of this people. This is still true today. God bless you in your studies.
In today's sermon we close out our study on the prophecies of Jesus. Will we be like the Isrealites that heard the prophecies of Jesus coming and doubted? The same God that promised the coming Messiah, has promised His return.
In today's sermon we continued to look at the promises kept in the life of Jesus. God promised the Messiah would come. God promised He would bear our sorrows, and iniquities. God promised that by His stripes we would be healed. We know that He did come. Why and for who did He come?
Today we have an opening by Brother Nick Scott. He opens with a brief reading of the Christmas Story from the boos of Matthew. After that we look into the promise of a savior. God had foretold of a coming savior from the very beginning. God promises a savior brought a surety that has touched us all. God bless you all in your studies.
In today's sermon we look at who we are chargable to. Paul has spent the entirety of this epistle charging us to grow and stand fro truth. In the closing of this book he tells us who we are chargable to. We need to grow and stand not because of church name, tradition, or pride. We need to do so to honor our God and our Savior! God bless you in your studies.
In today's sermon we look at Paul's charge to Timothy and the church to be content. Ill contentment is at the root of all our problems. We must learn to be content. Yet we are not to become complacent. There are things we should not seek, and things we should. God bless you in your studies.
Today we look at a hard subject. We live our lives like we are free. Yet the reality is we are all slaves to something. Once we see this it opens up so much of Scripture. May God bless you all in this study.
Today we get back into 1 Timothy. Paul challenges the church to be respectful. Most people's problem with church is not the teachings, its the people. We must be welcoming and respectful to grow and live up to being The Lord's church.
